CUYO WATERS LAB
The Cuyo Waters Lab is a network of experimentation and research in digital environmental humanities.
In 1970 Guillermo Cano drew attention to the “living laboratory” of the region of Cuyo in Argentina, which includes the provinces of Mendoza, San Juan, and San Luis, as a center of innovation and research in the politics and techniques of governing water.
Decades later, with new questions and different techniques, the Cuyo Waters Lab aims to shed light on the uses and governance of water, and how it continues to shape our territories and societies.
